Hello my followers,

I have to admit that It was just not until its hit with "Women of the verge of a nervous breakdown" when I got hooked up with his cinematographic language, as I have not been aware of his cinema. After that, each movie (previous and futures) I follow it like the Bible. He was my only interest in cinema and the reason I bought "Fotogramas", every month to follow his, so much expecting, next projects. 

He is my favourite director and I do follow all his movies as the greatest that Spanish cinema has ever produced.

Tengo que admitir que fue con su película "Mujeres al borde de una ataque de nervios" donde su lenguaje cinematográfico que hipnotizo, pues no conocía sus anteriores trabajos. Después de esta película, he seguido todas (anteriores y futuras) como si fuera mi Biblia. Fue mi mayor interés en cine y la razón por la que empece a comprar la revista "Fotogramas", donde cada mes, seguía sus esperados, nuevos proyectos.

Es mi director favorito por excelencia y todos sus estrenos los sigo como lo mas grande que esta pasando en el cine en nuestro país.

My darlings followers,

I have been focusing in drawing faces that I have found on my way to work or some other event, and let me tell you that living in London makes you take the underground everyday, spending a reasonable amount of time, as I am unfortunately not living in the centre of town, so instead of reading a book or thinking about my troubles/hopes etc....I do draw you. It is a very quick sketch but i am thinking ways to develop that.

He estado enfocado en dibujar caras de gente que encuentro en el metro a la hora de ir al trabajo o alguno otro evento, y permitidme que les diga que viviendo en una ciudad como Londres, lo tienes que coger todos los dias por bastante tiempo ya que no vivo precisamente en el centro, así que en vez de leer or pensar en mis problemas/esperanzas etc.....yo dibujo a las personas que me encuentro en mi camino....por el momento es solo un rápido esbozo de una cara pero estoy pensando en maneras de desarrollarlo en algo mas.

Bella Pieroni

Hello All.

I have felt so connected with another artist and Bella Pieroni is her name. I have met her thought her assistant Emma, who, once contacted me to be part of a "lively Life", where the model will move to next pose through dancing.  I have to admit that I was petrified and concerned when she asked me to take part of those workshops, due to the movement/dancing thing. She  follows Cecil Collins's approach to draw though movement as a natural way to get to next pose rather that being impose unnaturally. 

I have to recognised that it was the best experience of my life, both modelling and personal. The connection that I had with the different artists in there was magical and unique. I would never forget in my entire life, plus the extra fact that because she always works with two models, I was able to draw/paint as well as dancing/posing. Let me tell you that when you free yourself, when your brain is not in control of what you draw/paint, the results are amazing.

También tengo otro artista con la que me he sentido muy conectado y su nombre es Bella Pieroni. La conocí a través de su asistente Emma cuando me llamo para participar en los talleres de pintura llamados "Lively Life",  donde el modelo cambia de postura a través de movimientos que la música marca. Uno baila. Tengo que admitir que me quede petrificado y muy preocupado cuando me pidió que formara parte, debido al pequeño detalle de bailar. Ella sigue los pasos de Cecil Collins, quien también utilizaba movimientos del modelo para llegar a un pose, en vez de ser impuestos por el modelo o algunos de los artistas allí presentes. 

Tengo que reconocer que fue la mejor experiencia de toda mi vida, ambas profesional(lifemodel) y personal. La conexión que note allí entre todos nosotros fue muy mágica y única. Nunca olvidare en mi vida esa primera experiencia, ademas del hecho que como ella siempre trabajo con dos modelos, hubo oportunidad de dibujar/pintar a la vez que el otro posaba.  Permitidme que les diga que cuando uno se libera, cuando tu cerebro no esta en control de lo que dibujas/pintas, los resultados son increíbles. Lo recomiendo totalmente!!!

Judith Brenner

Hi all.

In 2006 a group of 4 artist contacting me to posse for them. At the beginning they gathered at their respective houses but later on they found a place to draw me as well as other models. Sometimes I have posed with another model.  I have immediately connected with all of them as they were very friendly and very talented. They did not want to go to school, where there will be a tutor telling them what to do and how to do it. They thought they did not learn anything and they have just wanted to practice with different models. 

Judith Brenner was one of them. Since that time I have seem Judith development with her drawings/paintings.  She is one of my favourite artist. I have worked with her as part of a group or one to one sessions since them in a regular basis, being her muse as she calls me.

En el 2006, un grupo de 4 artistas me contactaron para posar para ellos. Al principio nos reuníamos en la casa de alguno de ellos hasta que consiguieron un local donde me dibujaban a la vez que a otros modelos. Alguna vez en parejas. Desde un principio conecte con todos ellos,  pues son muy joviales y muy talentosos. No querían ir a ninguna clase donde alguien les diría lo que tenían que hacer. Ellos mismos decidían sus propios ejercicios para practicar. 

Judith Brenner era uno de ellos. Desde ese momento he visto el desarrollo de su trabajo a través de sus dibujos/pinturas. Ella es una de mis artistas favoritas. He trabajado con ella como parte del grupo o en sesiones individuales, siendo su inspiración como ella dice.

Hello All.

A few years ago I span my head with different ideas for a part time job as I needed a bit of extra income.  Somehow the idea of posing nude in front of artist come out and I liked it as I thought it is something I could easily do. 

I lively remember it. I had to pass an audition in Richmond, after a little interview with the person who run the workshop at that time. It was through several Fridays where I would pose last hour with established models. Thinking of interesting and intriguing posses for the artists to like me, as they were very demanding and they could call me again, was the difficult part and it still is. 

Then I became a member of RAM and start working as life-model for different school of art in London.    Soon enough I have started being interested about drawing after having to listen to the same instructions over and over and looking at the drawing of students/artists.  I remembered that when I was a child Artistic drawing was a subject I liked it very much. I had good grade on it. But the fact that it was just a hour a week, was a pity!!!!

Hace algunos años, di vueltas a la cabeza buscando ideas de trabajos a media jornada para sacar algo mas de dinero. De alguna manera llego la idea de posar desnudo delante de artistas, aquello me gusto pues era algo que fácilmente podía hacer. 

Lo recuerdo muy bien. Tuve que pasar una audición en Richmond, después de una pequeña entrevista con la persona que llevaba el taller de pintura. Duro unos cuantos viernes donde la ultima hora posaba con modelos ya establecidos. Pensar en poses interesantes e intrigantes para que los artistas, que eran muy  exigentes, les gustaran y me volvieran a llamar, fue la parta mas difícil y todavía lo es. 

Después me hicieron miembro de la organización llamada RAM y empece a trabajar de modelo para diferentes escuelas de arte en Londres. Después de un tiempo, debido a las veces que había escuchado a los tutores las instrucciones de como se tenia que dibujar, me pico el gusanillo de hacerlo yo mismo. Recuerdo que cuando era un niño me gustaba mucho la clase de dibujo y sacaba buenas notas. La pena es que solo era una hora a la semana.
