Candid ARTs Trust - Exhibition

Hello All,

Yesterday the Abstract show at Candid Arts Gallery finished. Lots of friends came to visit with me and they all made me very happy. 

For most of them the change of style was a surprise as they did not expect it, and some thought my pricing was very low.  

My friend Ana keeps telling me that I was a very particular style and I suppose it is because I do use digital drawings a lot. Regarding to pricing I am not here to make a huge profit on my painting and I would like to make more open to anyone who can not afford those prices.  

I have two pieces exhibited there:

Gin & Gan: Acrylic and soil on canvas.

                  50x40cm

Symmetry, plays an important role in order to balance lots of stuff, genders, good and bad, organic and unnatural. At the end everything is in order although it might get messy again. 

So be aware.

Sometimes when you feeling blue and don't see any immediate solution to your issues, you start painting and then you realise that always the solution is within yourself. 

Hope was my process.

Ayer acabó la exposición de arte abstracto en la galeria Candid Arts. Muchos amigos vinieron a visitarlo conmigo y me hicieron muy feliz. 

Para muchos de ellos, el cambio de estilo ha sido una sorpresa, pues no se lo esperaban y para algunos pensaron que el precio era bajo. 

Mi amiga Ana me cuenta que tengo un estilo particular y supongo que es por dibujar digitalmente. Sobre el precio, no estoy aquí para hacer un gran beneficio con mis pinturas. Me gustaria que si alguien que no puede permitirse normalmente comprar arte, pueda. 

Dos pinturas seleccionadas fueron expuestas:

Gin & Gan: Acrílico y tierra en lienzo.

Simetría juega un importante parte en esta pintura, nivelando lo bueno con lo malo, los géneros, lo natural y lo unnatural... Al final todo lleva a una armonía, pero si no tienes cuidado puede estropearse.

Algunas veces cuando estás deprimido y no ves soluciones inmediatas a tus problemas, empiezas a pintar y en el  proceso te das cuentas que la solución está en ti. 

Esta pieza habla del proceso.

Dear All.

Thought out my life I have been called out those names intending to hurt me or insult me, but further from their intention I have always been proud of all as I have always felt different and I have always liked it.  Well, maybe not at the beginning as you need to be strong and in my teens I was not. 

Time passes and people still using them to get people down, without being something for what you need to be ashamed. Feeling different as rest of people has made me realised that I was unique, therefore important. We all are.

A través de mi vida he sido llamado los nombres arriba indicados con el fin de herirme o insultarme, pero mas lejos de su intención, siempre me he sentido orgulloso de todos ellos. Siempre me he sentido diferente y siempre me ha gustado. Bueno, no siempre ya que al principio fue duro pues no era fuerte en mi adolescencia. 

El tiempo pasa y la gente sigue usando esos adjetivos para hacer daño, sin ser algo por lo que tienes que avergonzarse. Sentirse diferente al resto de la gente me ha hecho pensar que era único, importante. Todos los somos de una manera u otra. 

Dark Times

Dear All,

We have recently witnessed some awful dark events that they would have be unthinkable a few years ago, maybe because we tent to live in our comfort bubble where we don't get hurt and/or be humiliated by others. We should never gave up and always be ready to protest if something is wrong to humankind. 

I do stand for Diversity, Freedom, Respect and Tolerance to all of us, as they are all adjective than define wise people. If we are all united we would be indestructible. Minorities always enriches any society, when they are integrated in Harmony. I know that it might sounded as a dream but I do believe I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. 

Nobody is better that Anyone, base on race, religion or sexual orientation. 

In my mind it is simple matter of common sense and I don't understand why do we hate rather than love each other.

Many artist have addressed in the past and we should continue to do so, so get the message to everyone as a hymn of solidarity with each other.

Todos hemos presenciado últimamente algunos casos muy feos y oscuros que serian impensable hace unos cuantos anos, quizás pues tendemos a vivir en nuestros pequeños mundos de burbuja para protegernos de ser heridos o humillados. Nunca hay que rendirse y siempre estar listo para protestar si la humanidad esta en peligro. 

Yo me pronuncio a favor de Diversidad, Libertad, Respeto y Tolerancia para todos y cada uno de nosotros, ya que son adjetivos que definen gente inteligente. Si nos mantenemos unidos seremos indestructibles. Minorías siempre enriquecen cualquier sociedad, cuando están integradas en armonía. Yo se que puede sonar a sueno pero yo creo que NO SOY EL UNICO. 

Nadie es mejor que otro, basandose en raza, religion o orientación sexual. 

En mi opinion es un simple ejercicio de sentido común y no entiendo porque odiamos mas en vez de tratar de entender y aceptar. 

Muchos artistas han mencionado este problema en el pasado y deberíamos continuar haciéndolo, así que consigue que este mensaje sea un himno de solidaridad con cada uno.
