Felix D'eon

Hello.

Felix D'eon is without a doubt the best Illustrator according to me, of course. His drawing on their own tell you a gay story and you want to know more and more. 

Once my friend David De Kastelaan told me that my drawings reminded him of Felix's drawings. I felt blessed but I know at the same time that he was very kind to me. They are definitely an inspiration to me.

Felix D'eon es sin ninguna duda el mejor ilustrador según mi opinion, por supuesto. Sus dibujos te cuentan una historia gay que te hace querer saber mas y mas. 

Una vez mi amigo David de Kastelaan, me dijo que mis dibujos le recordaban a los de Felix. Me sentí muy alabado pues ya los conocía, pero se que el fue muy amable con su comentario. Ellos son una inspiracion para mi. 

Grillo Demo

Thanks to Topacio Fresh though her Instagram. I saw Grillo Demo's studio in Ibiza. It was a simply photo of his studio but it hooked me to the point of researching about his and his art. Now I have decided to include this artist from Argentina in my blog as his painting/collages move me, although I have seem them in pictures on the Internet. Lets hope I can see them in Madrid at "The Fresh Gallery" this coming months.

Gracias a Topacio Fresh, a traves de su Instagram. Vi una foto del estudio de Grillo Demo. Fue un simple foto de su estudio pero me engancho hasta el punto de empezar a buscar información sobre el y su arte. He decidido incluir a este artista de Argentina en mi blog por que sus pinturas/Collages me emocionan y eso que solo las he visto en Internet. Espero poder verlas en directo en Madrid en "La Fresh Gallery" estos próximos meses.

Hello All.

When I was a teenager, my favourite Spanish band was "Alaska y Dinarama". Carlos Berlanga was one of the three components of the group. I have recently discovered his period as a solo artist. I have to admit that I love his music. But what it really fascinate me is his part of artist as an drawer. Apparently he drew throughout all his live, designing the poster of one of Pedro Almodovar's film "Matador". 

I do include some pictures of drawings where he focused on faces like me. Sometimes I do feel that I do not go anywhere with my drawing but when I see others people drawing of faces, I feel that it is a common subject but at the same time it makes me believe that I am on my way to something.

Cuando era un quinceañero,  mi group de música favorito era "Alaska y Dinarama". Carlos Berlanga fue uno de los tres componentes del grupo. Hace poco que he descubierto su faceta como cantante solista. Y tengo que admitir que me encanta su música. Pero lo que realmente me fascina es su parte de artista como dibujante. Aparentemente el dibujo durante toda su vida, hizo el diseño de cartel para la película de Pedro Almodovar "Matador".

Incluyo algunos imágenes de dibujos donde el se centra en caras como yo. Algunas veces me siento que no voy para ningún sitio con mi obsesión con las caras pero cuando veo a otros artistas pintarlas, siento que es un sujeto muy común pero a la vez me hace creer que voy por el buen camino.
